This is the earliest box of pinfire cartridges known. It was designed in the late 1840s for some of the earliest pistols made by Casimir Lefaucheux.
It has 10 of the original cartridges in the box.
This is an incredibly rare box that has rarely ever been seen for sale. I had never seen a full box until 2023 when a few came up for Auction in France and I was able to acquire a few of them.
