Pinfire Ammo for Sale
This section offers a curated selection of original Lefaucheux pinfire cartridges, related 19th-century pinfire ammunition, and period pinfire cartridge boxes, including both full and empty examples. Occasionally, other early cartridge types are also offered when they are relevant to the development of self-contained ammunition. Pinfire cartridges and their packaging were produced in an extraordinary range of calibers, forms, and makers, and surviving examples are essential for studying, collecting, and displaying pinfire firearms today.
Many of the pinfire cartridges listed here are single surviving specimens, not bulk items, and availability is often limited to one example. Additional cartridges will be added over time as new material is acquired, so check back regularly for updates.
Be sure to also visit the pinfire guns for sale section, as pinfire firearms and their cartridges belong together and are best appreciated as complete pairs.
If you have any questions or are seeking a particular pinfire cartridge, please contact me at [email protected]. I maintain a large reference collection with many examples not yet listed.
